The moot court case was based on loosely based on the real cases of State v. Castagna, 187 N.J. 283 (2006) and State v. DeNofa, 187 N.J. 24 (2006), raising issues as to the use by a defendant of a polygraph of a state witness and as to the need for a jury charge on territorial jurisdiction, respectively.
