Appellate Advocacy - Fall 1997

The case argued by the students in this class in the Fall of 1997 was:
Do D. Fayed v. New Jersey Parole Board.

The moot court case was based on the real case of Trantino v. N.J. State Parole Board, 154 N.J. 19 (1997), a case involving an inmate who killed two policemen in 1963 and whose efforts to be released on parole have been at the center of ongoing litigation for more than a decade.
