In the Matter of the Grand Jury (Jocelyn Elders).


The moot court case was based on the real case of Conant v. McCaffrey, 172 F.R.D. 681 (N.D. Cal. 1997), a case focusing on the power of the federal government to threaten the drug-writing licenses of doctors who prescribed medical marijuana as allowed by a California law.
