Yankees Baseball, May 17, 1996
The members of the Terrell-St. Clair family of Vinton, Virginia were my guests at the Yankees-Angels game at Yankee Stadium on the evening of Friday, May 17, 1996.
(back row L-R) Kacy, Ian, Rose, Mike
(front row wielding the bats) Thomas (L), Hannah (R)
Unknown to them, I had arranged in advance to get
their names up in lights on the Yankees Scoreboard during the fourth inning:
|
|
Eleven-year-old Hannah is a Little League All-Star. |
|
Ian, at 13, was seeing his first major league ballgame. |
|
Thomas, the seven-year-old bat wielder, watched most of the game. |
|
Rose, age 5, is called "The Energizer Bunny" because she keeps
going and going and going... |
|
Mom Kacy and Dad Mike were seeing THEIR first major league game too. |
I have a special fondness for these
folks from the Southland. Kacy is my baby sister!
(we'll let you guess who's who)
